Teachers - Looking for a fun, safe and exciting way to teach your kids about flexibility and strength training? Look no further. DuraBand exercise kits and programs are perfect for Physical Education and Wellness classes.

Coaches - On the field and off, these kits are designed by top medical professionals to decrease sports related injuries and improve athletic performance.

To play any sport, you must have a sufficient degree of muscle strength and flexibility. DuraBand is easy to use and provides a safe, effective way to improve strength and build muscle.

Example: Baseball & Softball

Most Baseball and Softball injuries occur from overuse or overstrain of various muscle groups and ligaments. The most common injuries in baseball and softball are elbow and shoulder injuries. Typically, these occur with throwing activities and swinging motions. Exercises designed to combat tissue breakdown and improve muscle function for sport specific movements are what make DuraBand Sport Specific Training Kits so unique. These exercise programs were designed by top Sports Medicine Medical professionals who understand the biomechanics, injuries and performance inhibiting weakness found in the throwing athlete.

Medical Professionals: What are DuraBand Exercise Bands?

Whether you are a physical therapist, chiropractor, medical doctor, osteopathic doctor or a director, owner or manager of a medical facility, we encourage you to answer these simple questions:

  1. Do you use elastic exercise bands in your facility?
  2. Do you give these elastic bands away or collect revenue for them?
  3. Does the quality and appearance of the bands you are using represent the type of care you provide for your patients?
  4. Are you interested in saving money and generating thousands of dollars in new revenue?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, implementing the use of DuraBand Exercise Systems in your facility allows you to provide an affordable, professional and portable exercise system that your patients will appreciate much more than receiving a cut piece of balloon-like rubber. You will be amazed at the potential to generate new revenue and regain the lost revenue you are currently giving away. In today's medical market of lower reimbursement, can you afford not to try DuraBand systems?

Comfortable Feel - DuraBand exercise handles allow the patient to exercise holding a handle that has a form fitting and soft feel. There is no comparison between holding a soft handle verses wrapping an elastic band around the patient's hand.

Improved Tear Strength - DuraBands are an average of 1,200 times more difficult to tear than the six inch it was tested against. The increased durability of DuraBand makes it the "brand of choice" with those that have used it.

Improved Safety - DuraBand can be stretched farther before it breaks. Independent test results illustrate how much farther DuraBand can stretch before breaking as compared to the six-inch band it was tested against.

The ratio of resistance vs. length is very gradual with DuraBand. The modules of elasticity that are achieved are ideal in that they allow a smooth, gradual increase in resistance to be delivered. This quality is very important when rehabilitating postoperative musculoskeletal conditions. A sharp rise in resistance could potentially damage surgically prepared tissues as well as exacerbate non-operative conditions.

Did you ever wonder why some athletes have abilities greater than your own? Why can some players throw a 98 mph fast ball or drive a golf ball 350 yard's, hit a rocket backhand or kick a screaming shot on goal and never seem to have injury problems?  Well, we have. Yes, some of these abilities are genetic God given talents, but more often than not its conditioning and training that make the difference. The science of sports medicine and performance training has escalated tremendously in the past several years.  Having rehabilitated and trained thousands of top professional and amateur athletes, the sports medicine professionals who invented our sport specific exercise regiments understand the science behind preventing injuries and improving performance in ones sport.

Each sport specific training system was designed to bring years of experience, data and vital exercise information to you in a neatly packaged sport exercise system.  In the past, this information was reserved for select individuals, those who were already injured or those actively seeking an expensive personalized training program.  The key focus of our systems is to deliver essential strengthening and flexibility exercises for athletes, coaches, parents and teachers that are often overlooked in sport specific training programs.  The goals for using our systems are for the user to have a complete program to avoid common injury areas and the performance inhibiting weaknesses typically found in athletes playing that particular sport.

Through the study of biomechanics and sports science we have implemented concise and defined exercise regiments with unique devices that reduce the chance of injury and improve performance.

Variable resistance levels - DuraBand offers the most comprehensive resistance adjustment on the market today.

  • Available in four different resistance level bands with different colors for easy identification.
  • Resistance can also be varied further by simultaneously clipping two or three colors of DuraBands onto your fixed point of resistance. Delivering up to 60 pounds of resistance.
  • Resistance is varied by using the unique band adjuster to lengthen or shorten within the same color giving an infinite number of resistance levels.
  • This flexibility allows facilities to stock four resistance band colors, eliminating the additional expense in having to stock seven. The DuraBand color scheme is organized using the acronym ROYGBIV (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet).

Gradual length/strength elongation curve - The ratio of resistance vs. length is very gradual with DuraBand. The modules of elasticity that are achieved with DuraBand are so ideal that they allows a smooth, gradual increase in resistance to be delivered. This elastic quality is very important when rehabilitating postoperative musculoskeletal conditions. A sharp rise in resistance could potentially damage surgically repaired tissue as well as exacerbate non-operative conditions.
